Things are really heating up for the West Coast Music Vet Big Hutch as his self produced video for his hit single entitled Lord Have Mercy caught the attention of organizers hosting the 9th Annual Pocono Mountains Film Festival taking place on October 21st, and 22nd and will be honoring the O.G. Since 1967 and originator of G-Funk with a well deserved Producer of the Year Award along side other Honorees such as Robert Townsend, Karen Hunter, Frank Gatson, Jr., Aleta Chappelle, Re’Shaun Frear, Dhonna Goodale, Journalists Jenice Armstrong, and legendary music group Force MD's just to name a few. The award will be presented to Hutch by The “Gossip Queen” herself Flo Anthony, a successful journalist, author, radio & TV personality, publisher/editor-in-chief of BlackNoir and Toy Box Magazines. The Pocono Mountains Film Festival, or PMFF, is a Film Festival hosted in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania that recognizes young and upcoming film makers as well as paying homage to the life and career of some of the most notable Film Stars and Entertainment Executives. Past honorees have included the late Jack Palance, Fred “the Hammer” Williamson, Billy Dee Williams, Michael Jackson, Cliff Robertson, Robert Vaughn and Roberta Flack.
